Very cool, very stylish antique syrup jug here. There's a head on the lid, and another at the top of the handle. It's 7 3/4" tall, 3 1/2" wide. The bottom is stamped with Meriden & Co. 180 Patented Oct. 24 1865. Except for the tarnish... excuse me. I mean PATINA, it's in very good shape. The nose on the top head is either a bit snubbed, or is just very shiny. I can't tell which. (It kind of reminds me of the rogue space probe that thought Capt. Kirk was its creator in that episode of Star Trek.)
