Antique 1896 Forbes Silver Company Quadruple 422 Pitcher

Beautiful antique Forbes Silver Company Quadruple 422 silver plate pitcher dated 1896. The pitcher features shell and scroll feet, a nicely shaped foliate scroll handle, a scroll border all around the top edge and floral engravings on both sides. One cartouche among the floral motif reads, "1896." The reverse reads "Elting A. Fowler." The pitcher was most likely a presentation piece. Very good antique condition; no dents, no loss of plating, engraving and decorative details. About 7 1/4" H x 8" W including handle, x 6" D.
