Antique REED & BARTON 01255 Water Pitcher Seamless Lining Etched Silverplate

Description

This a beautiful Antique Reed Barton Ice Water Pitcher marked on the inside lip "Seamless Lining Patent Nov. 5th, 1867". Underneath is marked "MFD & PLATED BY
REED
&
BARTON  01255". The Pitcher measure about 14" tall. There is a lovely band of etched leaves & some cascading down. On
the bottom
of the spout is a lion's head with cattails on top of his head. The top final on the lid has 2 lion heads. The Pitcher weighs a little over 6 pounds
. The silverplating is worn  & there are some small dents (being sold in as-is condition). Please take a good look at all photos.
