Antique Silver Large Pitcher by 1881 Rogers

Description

This is a large Silver Plated water pitcher made by the 1881 Rogers Company. This pitcher measures 8 inches (203.2mm) high by 5-1/8 inches (130.2m) in diameter by 7-7/8 inches (200mm) wide from the lip to the end of the handle. I do not know the name of the pattern but it has beautiful ornate flowers and leaves scrolled around the upper portion. This pitcher is stamped on the bottom "1881 Rogers 5503" and it weighs 1lb 7oz (652gm) and holds 52oz (1537.8ml) of liquid. It has minor scratches and dents and is at least 60 years old.
