    Description

Antique silver plated pitcher with beautiful swan finial c. 1850s.  On the bottom, it has the original makers mark, which reads "Thompson's Patented Double Wall Pitcher".  At some point probably around the 1880s, it was re-plated and a new mark reading "Rogers & Bro, Extra Plate, Waterbury CT" was placed on top of the original one.
Measures about 12.25" tall overall, and the base is about 7.25" in diameter.  Condition of the pitcher is as seen in photos.  Scratches, tarnish, worn plating, and other wear.  Please take a look and feel free to ask any questions.  There are two dents on opposite sides - one is round and about 0.25" in diameter (photo 11), and the other is oval and about 1" x 0.5" (photo 12).  Please take a look at the photos and feel free to ask any questions.  Thanks!!!
