This pitcher measures over 12" tall and is found in below average preowned condition. It shows wear, dings, plate loss, and tarnishing. The lion figure is sunk a little in the lid. The pitcher is etched or personalized. It was presented to Walter Dixon in 1875 by FA Dixon and B Homan. I don't know if the Homan person was associated with the silverplate maker.
