Description
Large mid19th century Reed & Barton double wall ice pitcher marked “Mf’d & Plated By Reed & Barton” with early design number 0350 below.  Additionally, on the bottom is the stamp/mark that reads, “Patented by Ja’s. Stimpson, 1854, Extended for Seven Years.”  On the silvered pouring lip is  also the mark, “Seamless Lining Patented Nov. 5th, 1867, Reed & Barton.”  Measures 11 inches tall and 6 7/8 inches across base.  Overall shows tarnishing/wear, two noticeable dents on sides, some wear to bottom lip and tarnishing on the silvered interior lining.   Nice chase decorations and rustic handle with gothic style spout.  Hefty!
