Chinese Cealdon Plate with Blue Koi Fish & Lotus Design Scalloped Edge

Description

Contemporary 10" Chinese ceramic celadon plate with cobalt blue koi fish medallion center surrounded by lotus flower design.  Rolled rim plate has scalloped edges that are trimmed in cobalt.  The underside is stamped and marked Made in China.
Plate measures 10" W x 1" H from flat surface.
CONDITION: The underside of the plate has a tiny chip along the clay foot of the plate and there is a 1/4" stress crack in the glaze near a discolored pinch in the foot clay.  There are small balls of clay under the glaze on the underside of the plate rim.  The front surface has surface of the plate has a splotch of blue paint near one of the lotus flower tips and there are surface scratches in the glaze.  We have included photos of these imperfections in our listing photos.
