This listing is for a Antique Silver "Eales 1779 Silver Plate Italy" 14" Wine Claret / Water Pitcher in Diamond Point Glass with Hinged Lid. This stands a towering 14" tall from the bottom of the base to the tip of the cover's lid. The Glass Body measures just under 11" tall, is 3 inches across the top and 5 1/2 inches across the bottom of the base. The silver plate top screws on securely. There are no chips to the glass. No cracks or other issues either. This is a great eye-catching piece. The silver plate top needs a good cleaning but does not appear to have plate loss or other issues. The glass body is not maker marked.
