    Description

We are pleased to offer a lovely silverplated water pitcher from Community Plate.
The Coronation pattern is one of an elegant floral band that appears at the top of the pitcher and at the bottom of the handle.  It was introduced in 1936 to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VIII of England who abdicated in December of that year to marry Wallis Simpson.
Community made holloware to match some of its most popular patterns.  In its day, holloware was expensive so it is difficult to find today.  This pattern in particular, coming at the end of the Depression, would have been prohibitively expensive.  It deserves to be added to your collection or gifted to a special someone on your list.
    Condition:
Excellent - minor scratches on one side but no silver wear or loss or shadows.  There are no monograms and the pattern is crisp and well defined.  The underside of the base is clearly marked with both Community Plate symbols and verbage.  It has  been hand polished so there will be no surprises.  Any dark spots in the photos are reflections onIy.
    Size:
8 1/2" tall, 8 3/4" wide from handle to spout.
    Returns:
If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason, please let us know right away.  We are happy to accept returns, however, we will not reimburse postage unless we agree that we inadvertently misrepresented the item.
