    English Sheffield Plate Footed Standish Desk Set. Circa 1840.
    Octagonal form with pierced gallery on ball and claw Feet. Complete with double inkstands, chamberstick with separate conical snuffer and fluted pen holders. Underneath holding rod (to disassemble for polishing).
    13 3/4" L x 8 3/4" W x 2" H.
    Excellent condition with some blush.
