Famille Rose ACF Porcelain & Pewter Enameled Vintage HONG KONG BOWL 8"

Description

This is a gorgeous  8" in diameter and 1-3/4" deep bowl highly enameled in rich Famille Rose colors of rose, yellow, purple, aqua, and green!!
Your eye is drawn directly to the center medallion and then to the 4 circles which contain Chinese characters. The piece was intricately detailed and hand painted in Hong Kong with Asian designs.
The porcelain bowl which was made at a Japanese kiln is encased with a metal jacket of pewter sporting a wonderfully aged patina.
The back of the porcelain is stamped "Japanese Porcelain Ware...Decorated in Hong Kong...ACF. This stamp is, most likely, according to Goethborg Stamps, from around 1970.
It is heavy, weighing 1-lb.13oz.
