This is a Wonderful French
Christofle Silver Plate Large Water Pitcher & Basin, ca 1900.
The pitcher and basin are c
rafted by hand in its Haute Orfevrerie workshops in Normandie, France. Handmade guilloche design on both pieces with central Belt design Monogram. Christofle pieces appear in museum collections and grand hotels throughout the world and individual pieces have been commissioned for heads of state. Both pieces
are signed at the bottom with the French Christofle hallmarks and numbers. Excellent condition, please see pictures for more details. Pitcher measures: 28 cm high and Basin is 42,5 cm diameter by 13,5 cm high. An absolute most for collectors!
