What size bridge pin do I need?
Traditional bridge pins
will fit the majority of acoustic guitars including: Fender, Larrivee, Taylor, Gibson, Tacoma, Ovation, Breedlove, Rainsong, Carvin, Takamine, and many others. Traditional is the most popular size for most acoustic guitars.  The taper on the shank is 3 degrees.
Presentation bridge pins
are not quite as common. They have a shorter shank than the traditional style pins and a thicker collar. They are used for Godin, Art &Luthrie, Archambault, Artist, La Patrie, Norman, Simon & Patrick, Seagull and Showcase.  The taper on the shank is 3 degrees.
How to measure your bridge pins
The best way to determine what bridge pins will fit your guitar is to remove one and measure the shank diameter.  You can see from the diagram below exactly where to measure and compare dimensions.

All Graph Tech bridge pins have a 3º taper.  If you find the pin shank is slightly too thick, you can easily sand any extra material with some fine grit sandpaper for a customized fit.
