This Kit Is For:
USA Gibson Les Paul manufactured from 1977 to present using long shaft pots.
What's In The Kit:
4x Bourns high grade low friction 500K potentiometer Audio taper Long shaft Split knurled shaft Brass 3/8 in bushings 15% tolerance. Comes with 2 nuts and 2 dress washers.
Orange Drop .022uf bridge .022uf neck tone cap. Smaller physical size now for a better fit in cavity
Gavitt cloth push back 22awg grounding wire (to ground all 4 pots together). Gotta have this ground wire for it to work.
Every part is tested before shipping. Our kits work.
I personally prefer Bourns potentiometers over all other brands including CTS. I have found them to be smoother, responsive and longer lasting. The very best taper available. These pots are 18 spline shaft so USA type knobs will not fit without first pinching the top of the split shaft together a little and slowly push the knob on. Epiphone and off shore type will fit fine. We do offer a line of knobs that fit.

**If you are not sure whether your guitar uses short (3/8") or long (3/4") shaft pots please check before ordering. Normally Pre-1977 Gibson Les Paul's, Epiphone's, SG's and off shore copies use short shafts.
This kit has Long Shaft Pots
and generally will fit USA made Gibson Les Paul's manufactured after 1977.
Note: If you have an imported guitar (e.g. Japan, China, ect.) you may need to modify the potentiometer holes to 3/8 in to accommodate
the Bourns bushings.
