    Description

    Welcome To Tone Man Guitar
Our Tone Man Classic Guitar DIY Wiring kits will improve your guitars over all tone.  Only the best quality parts are used.
Premium new components that perform better than the stock electronics found in today’s guitars.  You will hear and feel the difference and love your new tone
You will not find a better product or selection.
    This Kit Is For:
USA Gibson Les Paul manufactured prior to 1977, All Epiphone LP and most off shore built LP using short shaft pots.
    What's In The Kit:
4x Bourns Pro Audio Low Friction 500K Potentiometer - Audio Taper - 15% Tolerance - Short Split Knurled Shaft Course Spline 18 teeth - Brass 3/8 in Bushings.
Pots come with nut and dress washer
Orange Drop .022uf bridge .022uf neck tone cap. Smaller physical size now for a better fit in cavity
Black Gavitt push back cloth vintage wire 22awg (to ground all 4 pots together). You gotta have this wire for it to work.
Every part is tested before we ship out.  Our kits work.
I personally prefer Bourns potentiometers over all other brands including CTS.  I have found them to be smoother, responsive and longer lasting.  The very best taper available.  These pots are 18 spline shaft so USA type knobs will not fit without first pinching the top of the split shaft together a little and slowly push the knob on.  Epiphone and off shore type will fit fine.  We do offer a line of knobs that fit.

**If you are not sure whether your guitar uses short (3/8") or long (3/4") shaft pots please check before ordering.  Normally Pre-1977 Gibson Les Paul's, All Epiphone's, All SG's and most off shore copies use short shafts.

Note: If you have an imported guitar Epiphone (e.g. Japan, China, ect.) you may need to modify the potentiometer holes to 3/8 in to accommodate
    the Bourns bushings.
