    Description

Large antique Wilcox Silver Co ceramic lined pitcher, engraving on pitcher was done in 1870, goblets and tray.  This is a gorgeous pitcher and goblets and tray.  Pitcher is marked Wilcox Silver plated, 307.  Tray is engraved with FB also.  Tray is marked Rogers Smith & Co. New Haven , Conn 7 - 14. The goblets are a different silver smith company.  Goblets are marked Meriden Brita 01396.  Goblets are engraved with FB for Flora Bennett.
This was handed down to me from grandmother.  According to engraving, and grandmothers note, this set was given to Flora Bennett.  A descendant of Robert Coe.  Engraved on the front of pitcher is Miss Flora Bennett , by the Patrons of Ben Coe Hall, June 23rd, 1870.  Goblets are engraved with FB.  So substantial and gorgeous.  I think this is connected to Coe College per my grandmothers secret note found inside the pitcher.  Please note there are two small indentations on pitcher that in my opinion are not noticeable.  This is absolutely gorgeous, I just don't have any where to display this and want to find a new home for her.
    Silver plated.
