Lovely Victor Quadruple Plate Melon Shaped Water Jug cica 1900

Description

Fabulous melon shaped quadruple plated water pitcher stands about 6" tall, and measures about 8 1/2" from handle to spout. Made by the Victor Silver Co. a division of Derby Silver Co. Victor stopped making silver plate in 1912, so this piece pre dates that. In amazing, as found estate condition, there are some surface scratches, and the interior has not been cleaned, but the silver plate itself is wonderful, and really looks like sterling silver. Marked on the bottom with the Victor trademark, it reads "Victor Silver Co. Quadruple Plate, 2021".
An elegant addition to any bar or side board, the water pitcher is offered with out reserve.
