    Description

    This stunning, large, bold,  Mid Century framed portrait cameo  is an Unique.
    This cameo is quite Convex and adds an interesting dimension to the piece.  It wide  1.25" Wide and 1.5" in height and 3/4" in depth.  Due to the curvature of the shell from which it was carved the 14K solid yellow gold frame that supports the cameo  has to be completely custom made to follow the contour of the shell from which the cameo was carved. The frame is further enhanced by a twisted wire gadroon border.
    The back of the cameo is fitted with both a pin back to be worn as a brooch or a  hasp so it can also be worn as a pendant.
    The total weight of the cameo is 7.2 DWT or 11.2 grams.
