Antique Penton Brothers St.Louis triple silverplate pitcher in excellent condition.
Pelton Bros & Co., St. Louis, created this extravagantly decorated double walled ice pitcher. Original finish with silver-plating intact. The basket and flower finial sits proudly on the repousse and chased pitcher. Most likely created for Pelton Bros. by the Meriden Brittania Co. this pitcher offers the desirable "Lyman's" patented spout A cast floral border and stylized floral handles embellish this piece. Naturalistic single rose-pattern spout. Engraved acanthus swags are also featured on this item.
