NEW Redesigned Special Eric Johnson Fender Strat Set Up. We have updated our EJ kit with a change in the volume control value.  EJ now uses a 500K volume pot with a value setting at the lower tolerance range of  420K to 445K for improved over all performance with .1uf Vintage K40Y-9 Aged PIO Cap and Cloth wired for T1 neck control T2 bridge.  One of the Best Set Ups Around. This is the Perfect Blues Tone Kit.  It will make a difference!
This Kit Is For
:
Straocaster Fender or Squire with 5 way blade switch, 3 single coil pickups or HSS pickup configuration.
What's In The Kit:
Bourns High Grade 250K potentiometers Short-Split-Shaft Audio Taper for tone controls (qty 2)
Bourns High Grade 500K potentiometer (420K to 445K range) Short shaft Audio Taper volume control (qty 1)
Oak Grigsby 5 way switch (tip not included)
Vintage Paper-In-Oil .1uf  K40Y-9 aged Tone Capacitor For Warmer Clean Blues Tone.
Switchcraft ¼ inch output jack
50’s style Gavitt cloth push back 22awg wiring
T2 tone controls the bridge pickup T1 controls neck. No tone control middle PU
Assembly Template Hard Board All assembled except for final hook up of ¼ inch output jack & pickup connections

Note: If you have an imported guitar (e.g.
Japan
,
China
, etc.)  not always but you may need to modify the potentiometer holes to 3/8 inch to accommodate the Bourns 3/8 inch bushings.

Although these harnesses are pre-assembled and tested they do require some soldering to connect the pick ups and output jack.
A 30 – 40 watt soldering iron is recommended.
Make sure you are comfortable with making these connections or we suggest you take this to a qualified guitar tech to complete the installation.
