Our Vintage Kit using Paper-In-Oil K42Y Tone Caps T0 Give your guitar that Vintage 50's Strat Tone.  All wired 50's style for a True Vintage Tone. It will make a difference!
This Kit Is For:
Straocaster with 5 way blade switch, 3 single coil pickups or HSS pickup configuration.
What's In The Kit:
Bourns Pro Audio  250K potentiometers, Short-Split-Shaft, Audio Taper
Oak Grigsby 5 way switch (tip not included)
Vintage Paper-In-Oil .047uf  K42Y-2 Aged Vintage Capacitor
Switchcraft ¼ inch output jack
50’s style Gavitt cloth push back 22awg wiring
Prewired assembly Template Hard Board All assembled except for final hook up of ¼ inch output jack & pickup connections

T2 tone bridge control wiring mod:
Rear tone T2 control will affect the bridge pickup in addition to the middle
I personally prefer Bourns potentiometers over all other brands including CTS.  I have found them to be smoother, longer lasting and the very best taper.  One of the highest rated guitar pots on the market.
Note: If you have an imported guitar (e.g.
Japan
,
China
, etc.)  you may need to modify the potentiometer holes to 3/8 inch to accommodate the Bourns bushings if your pick guard has the mini smaller pot holes.

Although these harnesses are pre-assembled and tested they do require some soldering to connect the pick ups and output jack.  A 25 – 40 watt soldering iron is recommended.  Make sure you are comfortable with making these connections or we suggest you take this to a qualified guitar tech to complete the installation.  I can not be responsible if you damage a unit.
