plated / peweter - I'm not 100% sure. Marked JS Stimpson - 1854 - Rogers Smith and Co. - New Haven Conn. - Lyman's Patent 1850 something. I can't make out the last number. It has some kind of crest on the front below the spout. The tanker measures 9" tall at it's highest point. The item is in fair condition and has some weight to it. Unpacked it weighs close to 5 lbs.  All sales are final so please ask questions before bidding.
