Simpson, Hall & Miller Barrel Form Quadruple Plate Syrup Pitcher

Description

An Aesthetic period silver plate syrup pitcher in the shape of a barrel.  Made by Simpson, Hall & Miller about 1870, the pitcher features a barrel form body, a typical Aesthetic handle, a thumb opener, and a spherical knopp.  Beautiful fancy script monogram.  Marked on the underside as shown.  A very collectible piece of American silver plate.
Condition: wear and scratching to the silver as shown; no dents.
