This is a set of 4 intricately carved cinnabar plates "This series is celebrating the "Five Perceptions of Weo Cho" and is based on the original work of the Ming Dynasty artist "Chu Yiian-Chang " Each plate is depicting four of the the five senses; hearing, sight, touch and taste. These replica Ming Dynasty of China plates were made for the Museum of Oriental Antiquities and approved for export. Each plate has a polished brass back gives the name of the plate, is numbered and has a hook for hanging. The plates are all in excellent condition.
