Towle Grand Duchess Silver Plate Vintage Water Pitcher.
This elegant silver plate water footed pitcher by Towle is in the Grand Duchess pattern circa 1983. It weighs 3 pounds 3 ounces. The ice lip is an upscale feature, and is 8 1/2” tall x 8” wide, and including the handle, is 10” wide. This gorgeous pitcher has clearly been in service, and is in good vintage condition. The pitcher has a flat dent under the division in the front of the pitcher, and some areas of surface silver plate are slightly discolored. The inside of the pitcher is stained. This vintage Towle Grand Duchess water pitcher does have many more years of service to offer.
