Vintage 1960s Vanity Fair baby doll chiffon peignoir And matching robe, Lt Blu

For sale today is a gorgeous pale blue chiffon peignoir set. This set includes a baby doll, A-line nighty with a matching robe. Both pieces are in excellent condition. The nighty features a blue nylon shift with a light blue chiffon overlay. It is accented with a small blue satin ribbon and four layers of ribbon detail around the bottom. The matching robe is A-line as well with elbow length flouncy sleeves outlined in complementary lace rows. Is accented with one tiny little blue satin button at the top. There are two layers of chiffon on the robe as well. Both pieces are size small.
Measurements are taken with the piece layed flat.
The measurements are:
19 inches from armpit to armpit
34 inches from shoulder to hem
The hip measurement is 28” at the widest.
The robe Is the same length as the nighty, it is more voluminous chiffon.
This set came from a very wealthy physicians wife out of St. Louis, Missouri. She loved beautiful things. This probably came from Saks fifth avenue as most of her other things did.
