We offer for your consideration this beautiful hinged lid Silver bowl with swan handle.
This piece is a bit of a mystery, we cannot make out the makers stamp, but it is clearly stamped .800 silver.
This hinged lidded bowl with the notched lid may be a Caviar bowl.
The .800 silver used in its making leads us to believe it may be German or eastern European in origin.
This little bowl is oval shaped, and rests on four curved feet.
From the stylized Swan handle to the opposite lip, it measures approximately 7 1/2 inches, it is approximately 4 1/2 inches wide, it is approximately 3 3/4 inches tall. This bowl weighs approximately 7.99
Ounces.
