This listing is for a ewer or pitcher which could be used for anything from wine to syrup and displays well. The handle is sturdy, and the glass is clear. There is a maker's mark on the side of the handle but I am unable to make out the mark. It is in good condition with shiny silver plate and clear glass. There are no monograms or dents, the hinge is sturdy, and the silver plate is shiny and bright. The pitcher stands about 8.25 inches tall and measures 5.25 inches wide measuring from the handle to the spout.
