Vintage TOWLE Silver Co. Water Pitcher 8-3/4" with ice guard

Description

Made by TOWLE #5881.  The Pitcher has an Ice Guard shaped in a Whales tail. It has a great feel to it heavy and a nice handle. It measures 9" Tall 8 3/4" from Handle to spout. There are a few scratches on the handle and a manufacturing flaw? ?? where the bottom attaches to the pitcher.  This doesn't affect the operation.  See last picture for flaw.  05
