Offered for auction a nice "VINTAGE / ANTIQUE MUSSBACH SILVER PLATE GLASS CARAFE / PITCHER WITH INNER ICE COOLING INSERT".  This Carafe is designed with a removable inner ice cooling insert that allows beverages to remain cold without diluting beverage strength by direct contact with melting ice.  The measurements: Pitcher Height approx...10", Diameter at widest part of glass...7" and weighs 3.45 Lbs., Insert Height...7 1/4", Diameter...2".  This Carafe is great for iced tea, lemonade and a multitude of various beverages.  It is in very good pre-owned condition with no scrapes or dents to the metal surface and no damage to the glass.  There is normal tarnish/aged patina  to the metal.  I believe the metal is silver plated, however, there is no mark to substantiate it.  The "HUSSBACH" name is located at the band/handle connection, along with the impressed Hussbach hallmark.  The metal has not been polished to preserve the aged patina, and left to the discretion of the buyer.  The glass inner and outer surfaces are clean and in very good condition.
