This is a PHOTOCOPY of a Vintage 1950s pattern to make doll clothes for your Penny Playpal doll or other same sized playpal / Life Sized dolls such as Patti Playpal, Suzy Playpal, Shirley Temple, Betsy McCall, and Linda McCall. This pattern is for your 32" (2 year) tall doll. It will fit dolls with measurements similar to a 19-13/4" waist. This pattern makes a Dress, Coat & Bonnet. The dress has a gathered skirt and short puffed sleeves, with or without a collar.  I include a color printout of the front cover, a black and white copy of the instructions, back cover and the complete pattern. Please email me with any questions that you have.

The Patti Playpal Doll was made from 1959-1961 by Ideal Toy Company. Penny Playpal was Patti's two year old sister and is a 32" tall doll made in 1959. The Patti Playpal doll was a hugely popular doll and similar sized dolls were made by competing companies, such as the Shirley Temple doll by Ideal and the Betsy McCall doll by American Character. Only one pattern was specifically made for her, but size 1-2-3 children's clothing can be adapted to fit nicely and I have a large assortment of those patterns available for the Patti Playpal doll.
